This course has right name The Anatomy of the Cake. We will split the cake into the basic elements. The corpus, cream and other parts will be discussed in detail, and then the whole cake will be put together according to Eliska's advices and recommendations.
Eliška will prepare different flavors of corpuses and creams, which we will combine and we will get surprising variations, which are perfectly suited and complement for each other. Learn how to tune and lift up the cake to the next level and how tastefully decorate it. The course will also include the real preparation of the cake from the scratch.
You will learn how to assemble a cake from a buttersponge and a mascarpone cream. How to tune it into a modern half-naked cake, decorate it with fruit, herbs, flowers ... There are no boundaries of your fantasy. Based on your new experience, each of you has made your own cake. After completing the course, you no longer need to know what to combine with you or seek for opportunities to take advantage of. How such a great cake can be made easily at home.
The length of the course is 6 hours, you will really enjoybaking with Eliška. In her company you will feel sweetly and you will leave full of great energy and a knowledges.
She studied English and Economics, but she turned her life upside down thanks to her love of baking. She moved to London to attend the famous cooking school Le Cordon Bleu, where she was awarded the prestigious Grand Diplôme. She has attended many courses at Laboratorio, but now the roles have changed and the student has become the master. Eliška is a pastry chef of La Finestra in Cucina.
