We baked up this course, „The Way of Bread,“ for everyone who bakes from scratch, and wants to learn how to make an authentic home-baked bread. Juliana is an enormoushly talented baker, and the top chef when it comes to bread. Maškrtnica is a simple sourdough bread, fluffy with a crispy crust.

Another from the 6 hours intensive classes. Compared to the other class which is time inversely, this one will go threw the process in a real time. The entire course will be dedicated to creating a perfect loaf of bread from A to Z. Maškrtnica will introduce you to the theory of creating a sourdough bread, time and temperature for raising the dough, and baking. Juliana will make this all seem incredibly simple. Under her experienced hands, basic ingredients like water, flour, and salt form a divine loaf.

Juliana will carefully explain everything in detail. During one day you will see all steps of bread making and than you can make it again at home. Do not over-think baking home bread. The sincere happiness that comes over you when you pull a homemade loaf out of the oven is an undeniably beautiful reward.

Juliana Fischerová

She has started to write a blog in 2012 about sourdough baking, Maškrtnica.cz. She and another food blogger (Cuketka) are founders of sourdough starter map and movement PečemPecen.cz. Since she was a little, Juliana enjoyed baking and cooking mainly for the family, later on she baked custom-made products and then she has been baking and frying donuts for restaurant Maso a kobliha.
