Donuts and other czech specialities are an integral part of carnival festivities, so it definitely should smell like freshly fried donuts at your home at these days. Lets go and learn how to prepare them with Julka! We will make the best donuts and muffins made of yeast dough... During the course you will knead the dough from yeast by yourself and you will learn how to make homemade czech donuts, tradicional muffins and possibly classic american donuts.
Because it takes some time for the yeast dough to be ready to fry it, Julka will bring already prepared some, which will save us some time, so we will start with the fillings, because without proper portion of sweet filling it wouldn´t be the same. We are going to work on vanilla, chocolate and cheese cream filling and one sweet icing. Then we are going to knead the dough form yeast, so you can prepare it yourself at home in future, anytime you like.
We are already looking forward here in Laboratorio for smelling of freshly fried carnival donuts, and we are also happy that Julka decided to bring you joy with this sweet course. Let´s enjoy it together.

Juliana Fischerová
She has started to write a blog in 2012 about sourdough baking, Maškrtnica.cz. She and another food blogger (Cuketka) are founders of sourdough starter map and movement PečemPecen.cz. Since she was a little, Juliana enjoyed baking and cooking mainly for the family, later on she baked custom-made products and then she has been baking and frying donuts for restaurant Maso a kobliha.
