Kro Kitchen, a distinctive bistro with an open kitchen and a rotisserie, where some of the best grilled chickens in Prague are roasted. This is one of the main specialties of the company, but you can also look forward to a crispy pork belly, a knuckle and a lot of vegetarian dishes. "Krůčka" has become a popular spot not only for hispers, but simply for everyone who loves great food with an idea. They promoted chicken to art here, you often have to line up for a chicken combo. In the kitchen you will find a team of passionate professionals who use both classic and modern methods to prepare meals. All courses are made from local ingredients from growers and also from farmers from the market in Jiřák, where the kitchen team likes to choose seasonal vegetables and the fruits make a daily special. Their common passion is fermentation, umami and especially the desire to do things their way and push the boundaries. They try to make the most of quality farm raw materials and therefore make extensive use of fermentation or drying.

A chicken triology awaits us, during which we will prepare 3 recipes from the whole chicken. Let's start with the broth, because that is the basis of every honest kitchen. Let's cook noodle soup with chicken offal. As a starter, there are chicken croquettes with pea hummus and a curly tabboule. This combo is a combination of three recipes that work great on their own and together they are a great taste bud. Chicken breast and liver with mushroom sauce and a bowl will be the main course of the evening. In this course, we will play with the progress, but also with the tightening of tastes. Vojta will teach you how to proceed so that the breasts do not dry out and the whole course is perfectly tuned. It is already clear that we have a great course ahead of us. Vojtěch Václavík
Chef and co-owner of Kro Kitchen, who decided to cook without compromise. Vojta gained experience in the Sansho restaurant with Paul Day and then went on an experience to Oslo, where he worked for two years in the Michelin-starred restaurant Fauna and completed several internships in Sweden and Denmark. After returning to Bohemia, he worked as the chef of Hergetova Cihelna, and then it was Kro. By opening the bistro, Kro kitchen has fulfilled his dream. He enriched the Prague gastronomic scene with a great concept, which is constantly growing. Now their portfolio also includes the bakery and café Kro Coffee & bakery as well as the new branch in Karlín Kro bistro & bar.
