Do you indulge in seafood during the holidays, but don’t know how to prepare it at home? We have the solution in the Laboratorio. And one of the most respected chefs, Tomáš Juřík from La Finestra in Cucina will reveal it. You will no longer be afraid of any kind of seafood or its preparation. You will start with a simple but very fresh appetizer that will amaze you with its taste combinations – shrimp salad with mango, avocado, and lemon mayonnaise. And by the way, have you heard of or tried French bouillabaisse? If so, you will love the Italian variant, a fish soup fresh from the market – Cacciucco. It will be prepared with calamari, scallops and mussels, and with saffron passatelli. And the fact that seafood perfectly fits with pasta will guide you to create gnocchi with grilled artichokes, clams and basil. And how do we finish this feast with the seaside atmosphere? But of course, with the king of seafood – lobster. We’ll serve it with tomatoes and ginger.
His cooking experience began at the restaurant Pastacaffe Tonino Lamborghini (Ambiente Group), where he worked for one year. He followed this with a stint at La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise. He expanded his experience by one month fellowship at New York's restaurant Avoca, which was the holder of two Michelin stars. And now Tomas is a chef in La Finestra restaurant.
