What we will cook / List of Wines

Thailand - Spring rolls with Peking duck - spring rolls filled with Peking duck with Hoisin sauce, salad with pikles, chilli and thai basil.

Vietnam - Pho bo tái soup - strong beef broth with beef, ginger, cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, rice noodles, soy sprouts and coriander.

Indonesia - Fried rice Nasi Goreng - fries rice with fried chicken, pickled vegetables, spicy egg omelette and shrimp chips.

India - Gulab Jamun - almond dough balls, black cardamom sirup with kumquata, mango yoghurt, pistachios-

During the cooking class with the chef Ondřej Hutník you will travel through Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and India. Get ready for all traditional tastes of Asia - Peking duck, favourite strong Vietnamese broth Pho bo tái, fried rice Nasi Goreng from Indonesia and the dessert from India - Gulab Jamun.

Ondřej has choosen the most favourite recipes and the class will be full of freshness and colourfull tastes. This menu is simply WAU! If you are fans of Asian cuisine, you will be spoiled. Do you already smell coriander, cinnamon, star anise, thai basil and cardamom? Look forfard for spicy and authentic experience.

Ondřej has been interested in many faces of Asian cuisine for a long time. His specialty is in interesting and original dishes which from his hands taste divine. He has a lot of experiences, he was a chef in Mandarin Oriental Prague for 5 years, he has foreign experiences, including the one in Michelin restaurant Yong Yi Ting. He used to be a sous chef in Sia restaurant in 2018 and with the head chef Jiří Štift went for an inspirational trip to Hongkong and Taipei. In March 2019 Ondřej has started his new adventure as head chef for Foodway Catering.

Thanks to Made in Japan whose plates will be used in this course.

Ondřej Hutník

Ondra started cooking in Scotland, after his return to the Czech he cooked in Maze by Gordon Ramsay restaurant at the Hilton old Town hotel, Phenix, V Zátiší, Čestr and than the Mandarin Oriental Prague, where he spent 5 years, last 2 years as the Deputy Chef. Ondra has also managed internships abroad at Michelin stars restaurants. From 2018 he worked as a sous chef in the Asian restaurant Sia led by chef Jiří Štift. Now he works as chef of Toodway Catering Group Together.
